If you download songs on bellabeth.com, you need to purchase them as part of a “Sync Bundle” to get a sync license. A sync license allows you to use the songs in your own audiovisual projects, such as videos, podcasts, or presentations. Songs that are downloaded without a sync license are for personal use only and cannot be used in any public or commercial way.

The following is a licensing agreement between Bellabeth.com, the Licensor, and the Licensee, who wishes to use the music. By purchasing and using a “Sync Bundle” in their own content, the Licensee agrees to the following terms and conditions:

1. Grant of License

Subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement, the Licensor, Bellabeth.com, grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the musical composition(s) purchased in the form of “Sync Bundles” for the purposes outlined in Section 2. Songs downloaded that weren't purchased in the form of a “Sync Bundle” on bellabeth.com don't grant the buyer a sync license.

2. Permitted Uses

The Licensee is permitted to use the music for the following purposes:

• Social media content
• YouTube videos
• Podcasts
• Commercial non-public videos (eg. wedding videos)

3. Prohibited Uses

The Licensee is expressly prohibited from:

• Reselling, distributing, or sublicensing the music individually or as part of a collection
• Creating derivative works based on the music, including writing songs on top of the music or recording cover versions and distributing those songs

4. Attribution (optional)

The Licensee may credit the Licensor as the original creator of the music in their content and videos, and provide a link to Bellabeth.com, where the Licensor's music can be found.

5. Ownership and Termination

The Licensor retains all rights, title, and interest in the music. The Licensee acknowledges that this license is subject to the terms outlined in this agreement. The Licensor reserves the right to terminate this agreement under the following conditions:

• In the event of a material breach by the Licensee, with written notice and a reasonable cure period provided.
• In the event of changes in legal or regulatory requirements that affect the licensing of the music.

7. Governing Law and Disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising from or related to this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.

8. Content ID

Many of the songs available on bellabeth.com are (or will be) registered with the YouTube Content ID system. Make sure to add your channel link in the “notes” section during checkout so I can cross-reference your info to release content ID claims here. 

9. Entire Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements or communications regarding the subject matter. The Licensee acknowledges that they have read and understood this agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
